While what you say about mittens and miss lindsey are true, I don't see the GOP losing the senate only because of the alternative. Dims holding both houses of congress would almost guarantee non-stop Trump impeachment efforts.

The actual prediction is the Republicans lose 2 seats. Remember, Jones will get sent back to the hole he crawled out of in Alabama. They stole that election by dividing the Republican votes ...they could nominate a whore and she wouldn't lose this time around ... I've said all along ..Jones better have rented because he won't be up there long.
If the Democrat Governors keep their trash up in preventing reopening ....first the fires in the state Mansion and Capital will have to be put out, then the DNC Senators up for election in that state will be spending time getting the tar and feathers off.

A lot of people come here and think they are being really edgy and really cute with "fresh takes" like this but let me remind you that there is only ONE other alternative to the Republicans not having either the House or Senate. The "Yeah let them lose, that'll show them!" or "The Republicans are no better than the Democrats!" idiotic mindset(s) just don't hold water.
My case in point...would we have had to suffer through impeachment and all the other unmitigated bullshite being thrown at Trump, tamping down his success had we had a Republican House since 2018? Seriously, we would have fared SO much better not having to deal with the Dems being in power...Republicans being no better than the Dems...my arse! That's totally naive and I sure as Hades would rather have a "do nothing" Republican Congress than a Dem controlled Congress trying to bring us down constantly. My gracious, let's get some reality into the mix here.

Throw in Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney and there's no point in even electing GOP Senators. What do they even do? They could have done so much more to support the President. As it stands, there really aren't any good reasons to support those fools.
The R's had their chance right after the 2016 GE and blew it about as bad as a political party could blow it......really no defense on how inept they handled the opportunities given to them by the American voter and Trump.

Agree, GOP will lose Senate seats in CO, AZ, MT, NC, ME and possibly TX. GOP should regain AL. After the smoke clears net loss of 4 seats. Dems will not only retain the House, but will gain seats. Future is not good for the US.
