Would Japan ever have finished with China? They were having incredible difficulties on that front despite their willingness to kill millions.

They would not have needed to subjugate China. China already had no means to resist.

That is why the Entire Jap war machine was directed to the South

With no concern for US opposition, Japan could have marched through China. Easily.

It woould be the stuff of nightmares for the Chinese history books, though

I forgot to add that the US would not be aiding China's Nationalists in this scenario

I’d doubt the USSR would be able to hold their own without the US. People forget the massive amount of trucks and non sexy supplies we sent them to allow their own economy to focus on tanks and other offensive forces. The USSR let the American support assist the logistic side.

And as bad as the soviets were at internal production of logistics, they wiped the floor with the Japanese Army early on in the war.
