If we’re being completely honest, conservatism failed. Nothing is really left to be conserved because it’s all been deserted and pissed on by leftists with the help of weak so called “conservatives”. Our only hope is someone like Trump coming in and completely tearing the establishment down. Next to that, the only option is secession, even though the Yankees tried to destroy that right too.

The last time the Republicans were fiscally conservative was 1994.
If you're arguing the people who have pretended to care about fiscal conservatism have never really cared about fiscal conservatism (at least in the last 30 years, as you say) you're not really going to get any push back from me.
I might argue Trump has taken that up a notch, which was really my point.
