It would be completely hijacked with injected horseshite and tainted by career criminal/politician agenda items.

One of the only ways to ensure this doesn't happen would also to be requiring multiple CoS sessions that are single-issue focused.

I'm not an expert, but what does the swamp have to do with a COS called by the states? What authority/direction can they exert?

The line of thinking that DS politics/operatives are limited only to federal positions and can't leave the Beltway is unadvisable.

If pieces of shite like yourself would disappear we would be better off.

You voted for this shite. Own it.

If we left you and your kind would starve. Get you some woke DEI mother frickers to run everything. How's that working out?

I'm not making myself clear.

In a COS called by state legislatures with a defined remit, what influence would the swamp (wherever they reside) have on it? Unless you're talking about a controlling majority of 34+ state legislatures?

The founding fathers told us what we must do in these situations.

Let me sum this up for you. Know Jesus, know peace. No Jesus, no peace. Anyone who deserts the principles that brought them success will experience failure.

Well, as I've stated before,

quote:

Section 4
The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

And yet,

Penn Supreme Court makes up "rules" as they see fit.

So, I don't know, I totally trust state governments to be above board.

Agreed. If you can, buy land in the country and try and be as self-sufficient as possible.

No it’s not. Some places served a purpose for a moment in time and then life moved on as did the capable folks. The US is still the destination of choice for the achieving class and 2nd place is far behind. Only sophomoric loser clowns see the US as a dying economy. Sorry you can’t find a nut.

I guarantee you I’m more of a capitalist, with more skin in the game than you. If you could deal with facts and not emotions maybe you coulda been more than a mid mgmt apparatchik.

Meh. We are quickly becoming a place of haves and have nots, with very little in between.

Our Politicians were bribed and bought, and they sold us out; which is why the Trump phenomenon even exists. We just need 300 guys to go to the Hot gates…

How would the swamp influence a COS to the point it would be ineffectual

You don't believe the swamp is powerful enough to have sway on a constitutional convention?

Please don’t call me a republican. I feel like I need a shower now. And congratulations on your great success.

I’m sure you’re very successful and you’ve made a lot of money in your life. That’s great. But look around you. The majority of this country is in bad shape and getting worse every year. If you can’t see that - well, then god bless.
