Because she wasn't connecting those two things in her mind. Although I do think it's hilarious how our fellow posters are trolling her based on that angle.
In her mind, she was probably thinking that he's black, and therefore shouldn't be a conservative, AND affluent (read: proxy for intelligence) and therefore shouldn't be a conservative.
Look, I agree that her tweet was racist. I'm just saying that there is a non-racist explanation regarding the "black" part and the "BMW" part of it.
If I'm being completely honest, I don't think she was saying that she's confused that a black guy was driving a BMW.
