Trump, as the head of the executive branch, has the legal power to utilize ICE to enforce federal immigration laws. Obama was sued by the border states for immigrate failures. the USSC ruled that immigration is not a state power bot solely the power of the federal government.

I’ve never really defended the Branch Dividians. But like most here, have been very critical of Janet Reno.

What does that have to do with being invaded by 20 million illegals? Or are you one of those that loves laws being enforced only when your programmers tell you to?

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read.

THE ONLY PLACE THIS IS HAPPENING IN THE U.S. IS IN FREAKIN' MINNESOTA WHERE A LOSER VP CANDIDATE ASKED PEOPLE TO GET IN THE FACE OF THE FEDS (THE SAME ONES OBAMA USED)!!!

I'M DONE ARGUING WITH IDIOTS.

You mean when Jerry Rubin and the SDS started violent confrontations with the NG for the purpose of inciting a violent response so they could claim victimhood?

Which even Jerry Rubin later admitted?

That Ohio?

Of all the dumb post I’ve seen today this is the winner! Trying to make a comparison to Waco? For the love of heaven. The dude bit the finger off of a federal law enforcement officer. In Waco a group of people stayed inside their compound bothering no one. They were nuts but they weren’t bothering anyone. They weren’t attacking ice offers. You bite someone’s finger off you deserve to be shot. Gun or no gun.

Waco involved federal force used against civilians in the name of law and order.
If that comparison offends you, say which part you disagree with.

But yeah these same people would defend Waco.

Waco was an assault on U.S. citizens.

Expelling foreign invaders is one the few duties the Federal Government is specifically chartered to perform.

Maybe you aren’t very bright. Not offended by any of it. Just pointing out what a bad comparison it is. Federal use of force against people minding their own business is bad (Waco). People attacking federal law enforcement then claiming the victim when force is met with force ( Violent Protesters). They are not the same.

I mean there was justification for deadly force. That’s usually a good reason to disperse and go home. Vote your conscience but you should know protesting doesn’t mean cops are going to just stop enforcing the laws just because you say so. That’s not how this country or any country I know of works

Be glad this will be the end of a Republican presidency for at least the next decade.
