How many drew their weapons when Pretti was observed to have a weapon in his waistband? How many had weapons drawn when the first shot was fired?

HE KNEW when he went out he was carrying an illegal weapon. He stupidly approached LEO's and did not inform them he was armed. That cost him his life.

If he had neither his Id or his permit on him when he left the house when was HE expecting to produce it ??? When asked? When he started acting in an illegal obstructing fashion??
