boosie? Hank? Decatur? Bunk?
Let's be VERY clear here. Tren de Aragua (TdA) is undoubtedly a despicable, violent international criminal gang.

That being said, is TdA a "terrorist organization?"

Terrorism is usually defined as some variant of "the calculated use of violence or the threat of violence to create a climate of fear and achieve political and/or ideological objectives."

What are the "political or ideological objectives" of TdA?

The simple fact is that Trump has attempted to re-brand a violent criminal gang as a "terrorist organization" solely because that designation gives him more power to act unilaterally ... "dictatorially," if you will.

Who is "up next?" The Mafia? Greenpeace?

Trump can deport all the gang bangers he wants after he makes sure they’re gang bangers.

So Biden didn't do shite.

Thanks for proving my point.

You don't want Trump going to extreme measures to deport fricking illegal gang members? Stop putting up ridiculous roadblock to legal methods in the first place.

OPs post makes at least a decent case.

Ok that’s nice.

Do I need to be here for your argument with yourself?

What if the President is wrong in his application of the law? Is there any review of that?
Why aren't we asking why progressives want Tren de Aragua in this country so damn bad
Because that would be a silly question to ask.

No one "wants TdA in this country."

We simply want our own government to follow the damned law.

What if a judge ruled in a class action case, without there being an identified group? Wheres the review of that?
An appeal to the Circuit Court, the same as in any other case.

Too abstract a concept for some. (many?)

So how many did the Biden admin catch and deport?

How many Tren de Aragua did Biden deport?
What is the capital of Mongolia?

Both questions are equally relevant to this discussion.

These gangs are brutal. They only understand one thing and that’s violence. Meet their violence with violence.

Did you, or did you not say, that no one wants tren de aragua here in America?

Seems very relevant.

If Trump has deported more in 2 months than Biden has in 4 years, then you're clearly very wrong.

Azz, the "question" is right there in the OP's headline ... whether TdA is a "terrorist organization."

Whether Biden deported 10,000 or them or NONE of them is irrelevant to the question of that designation ... other than perhaps an observation that the Biden administration considered them to be a violent criminal gang, rather than a "terrorist organization" and thus did not invoke the Act.

So you won't stand by your claim that no one wants them here.

Weak.

Next time just stfu.

Where do you get this stuff?

You make these outrageous leaps of "logic" (I am being generous) all the time.

When you take up for the enemy, and you do take up for the enemy, you are aiding and abetting the enemy.

Drastic times calls for drastic measures.

We need to cut out the rot any way possible.

We can get back to being a nation of laws when we right the ship and both sides returns to obeying laws at some later date down the road.

Oversite of a duly elected president by the peanut gallery is not useful.

It's not a leap of logic to say that Progs will ignore the law for open border policies and hamstring anyone or anything that tries to deport people, regardless of their crimes or gang affiliations.

That's why we're in this spot right now.

You can sit there and try to pretend that, despite the billions of dollars we've spent on border security that we're just totally inept and can't keep illegal gang members out of country, but no one here is going to believe that.

This was all purposeful. And all the roadblocking and hamstringing is making the deportation efforts more and more radical.
