This whole Bad Bunny debate has sparked a lot of talk as to what an American is. Puerto Rico is not a state

This is how you create a complete coherent subject. Do better next time. You’re welcome.

Yeah, when he said "ICE OUT".

Shows me he hates America right there.

I would guess that most of the chatter about Bad Bunny is coming from The Right.

That means that the NFL marketing department has done its job.

Exactly what I have been saying. All publicity is good publicity.

The Bad Bunny haters have fallen right into the trap that the NFL set.

The best thing the haters could have done is just ignore the decision.

Oh for real? Who are their representatives in Congress? How many electoral votes do they have?

Ask a Puerto Rican on the island if they are Puerto Rican or American.

That’s reality. While they were granted citizenship, they generally do not consider themselves Americans.
We should give PR back to Spain, but I seriously doubt Spain would take the gift. Huge drain on taxpayers and provide zero benefit.

If a Puerto Rican moves to any state in the USA, they can vote. They are 100% American Citizens.

Am I right here or just being ignorant? Edit: I know that they are legally American citizens. But as we know, legal does not mean in practice.

Oh frick off with this shite. You knew it was coming on this board.

Puerto Rico residents are US citizens. They pay US taxes. They have no representation in Washington; only states do, Taxation without representation. Sound familiar?

Kinda dumb to book an artist to sing to a fanbase that doesn't speak that language.

Then again.... , I couldn't understand anything Kendrick Lamar sang last year either.

I never see one of those terrible uber drivers from Puerto Rico with an American flag on their rear view mirror.

Just saying.

I don’t give a shite. I said “in my opinion”. As in I don’t care. The landmass of Puerto Rico enjoys no voting representation in the U.S. Government. Fact.

Same can be said for Hawaiians. Nobody questions their citizenship.
