I voted for Trump as a single issue voter, illegal immigration. I think he's been ok on that because I think illegals have felt they aren't welcome here and stopped coming (or left).
Kamala would have been worse, so don't think any of my criticism is pro-Dem, but man, if you wanted to fix the US you'd be reforming Social Security, Medicare, ending all foreign aid etc. Anything else is treating your acne when you have cancer.

It will never get fixed until the whole system collapses because it would be so unpopular they'd get destroyed at the ballot.
Trump has a somewhat unique position in that he has a majority in all branches and he can't run again, but he won't do anything about it.
