It's a dumb thought. Really dumb. Almost as dumb as wasting an hour watching Politically Incorrect.

Gabbard is the enemy on the economy, which far outweigh her positions on culture war bullshite or foreign policy.

In the very least I’d like her to take John Bolton’s former position. Again I think she’d be disastrous on the economy, but that’d she be awesome if she took that serial child killer’s former position. I think she’d be just great at that role.

I like that she destroys the progs on a regular basis - but I don't want her in any position of power....she's a damn socialist.

If you are going to throw in a female for VP I guess it would have to be Noem.

Outside of boner patrol, hell no to Tulsi.

So would an infinite amount of other people who actually align with the GOP politically. Foreign policy is not difficult, nor is it tough to find an NSA out of the thousands of career people in Washington. What are Gabbard's qualifications there? She served and has decent/common sense takes?

How is that a reason to put her on the ticket?

You have to ask yourself would Tulsi result in more people in blue and purple states voting for Desantis than otherwise would or would she result in fewer people in red and purple states voting for Desantis than otherwise would. I don't know the answer to that question but the people running the Desantis campaign had better know the answer to that question before going down this road.

That’s more what I’m saying.

How about a Maher/Tulsi ticket. You'd love that.

At least that ticket would leave me the frick alone. If I could Thanos snap that ticket into being currently in the White House over this shite show, then sure. Can’t do any worse.

DeSantis/Scott would be a nice ticket

I still want Trump to run for a House Seat in 2022. When he wins and Rs regain majority, SOH Trump might be even better than POTUS Trump.

Hell yeah on DeSantis and a hard no on Tulsi “vote wise” unless she does maybe a “topless photo shoot” then maybe.

Why dilute your ticket, by putting a dem on it? DeSantis is a home run and there is nothing other than Democrat cheating that will stop it. He doesn't need to "reach to the other side of the aisle" because the voters don't want anyone on the other side of the aisle at all.

Biden - 36% approval from the most left wing of pollsters
Harris - 28%

It's a sinking ship, why do you want to put one of the rats on the rising vessel?

There is not a single person in the entire country who is going to vote for Ron DeSantis because Tulsi Gabbard is on the ticket.

The positions that Gabbard holds that the right and middle would support are already held by DeSantis and the entire Republican apparatus generally. She adds nothing, at all.

I’d like to say yes because she obviously has a better head on her shoulders (and cheeks in her pants) that every other Democrat that gets on TV, but she’s still an unforgivable democrat count

Right. Its a dumb idea. Dems arent crossing over for Tulsi on a VP ticket and republican hard liners are going to question DeSantis for making suck a cuck move. You can appoint her to a cabinet position if you want to throw out olive branches, but you'd be wasting your time. Todays dem leadership are a pack of soulless, blood thirsty jackals.

He doesn't need a House seat to be Speaker.

You got a point, but just in general I not only think it’d be fricking hilarious if she took John Bolton’s former job, but I genuinely think she’d be excellent at that job. That I want her to be in and I think it was floated a bit by Trump that she replace Bolton.

Link? I haven’t heard her say shite one way or the other about this issue. I would think Tulsi being a veteran she’d understand the value of the 2nd Amendment.

EDIT: Found it pretty quickly, and while I still like her from a foreign policy and culture war perspective, yeah, basically a dealbreaker save for Bolton’s position I spoke of. Maybe she’s changed her mind in the past two years like a ton of people have on guns, but if this is the position she still holds, then dealbreaker for VP:

quote:

In solidarity with the upcoming "March for Our Lives" event on Saturday, March 24th, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard penned an op ed for The Sanders Institute showing that the majority of Americans want common sense gun regulations now, including support for measures such as: restricted access to assault weapons; restricted access to high capacity ammunition magazines; increasing the legal purchasing age; and enforcing stricter universal background checks.
