Suppliers tend to compete for customers when they see that customers have choices. Not sure what products to you import or where from but reductions of 5% against tariff levy while other product lines are reducing greater, equal to tariffs to offset, sounds like having their hands crunching your balls instead of you having viable alternatives.

I guess the same would apply to you having to sue the government for tariff refunds. It's nearly impossible to determine who is entitled to what.

hard to say. guess would be about 50% was passed on. still trying to figure out long term pricing strategy. i have a warehouse full of product with different tariff rates associated to them. and still don't know what the long term tariff rate will be. seems like it changed every week.

I post a ton and own 2 businesses plus real estate. After running a business for a long time and hiring the right people, it gets to a point where the daily operations can run without you. The first 4 years or so I put in 7 days per week 16 hours per day but you reach a point where it's no longer needed and I probably dedicate 15-20 hours per week to each business now.

So your pricing is pretty static?

Why wouldn't you average it out on the product you do have if it's all the same product?

I want a refund commensurate with the proportion of our tax dollars that has gone to fraud the last 25 years that I've been paying taxes.

some pricing is static via contracts, pricing agreements, etc. and when these agreements come up again, we have to decide whether to pass on the entire tariff amount and risk losing the business, or absorb some or all of it.
