What are we waiting for for this to happen?

Congress?

Maybe. I read where SCOTUS did not address refunds at all.

I suppose that the administration could come up with a refund system that was tied to audits so painful and onerous that few would want to go through with it.

It’s called business risk, Sure you made a lot of money on American citizens. It’s called equal trade.

it is definitely risk. risk comes from many different areas. just trying to explain that some industries will not fundamentally change with a 25%-50% tariff. it would take a 200%-300% tariff. so all the 25% does it send my company's money to the US government instead of keeping it in my business. and then i either absorb the hit or pass it on to my us customer.

I'll ask for any amount I paid to the US government that was collected illegally according to the Supreme Court. Why would i not?

There's no reason you shouldn't, and don't let any idiots here make you feel bad about it.

If the government taxed me and later it was determined in court that they overtaxed or taxed when they shouldn't, I would get the money back and so would every mouth breathing idiot dullard retard on this board acting like they wouldn't.

The government literally took some of your money that legally didn't belong to them.

Anybody who wouldn't get it back is seriously retarded.

I am 100% asking for a refund and you would too in my situation. I'm not banking on it and company will survive, but it would sure be nice to get that money back.

And you should 100% pass that onto your customers.
