Makes zero sense. I’m not a doomer on the tariffs so I’m willing to see how that shakes out at least. I just have a problem with this narrative that this was the plan or necessary.

Except Trump. He told you baws this economy would be flying in three days.
Dude you are talking crazy. He gave everyone a month warning of the tariff dates. Anyone with a smidgen of economic sense knew this would happen. Hell trump and his financial cabinet members said even predicted it for anyone that would listen. I do not care if Reagan, trump, or the turnip said it would only be 3 days you should have known (with ample warning) especially with your amazing market and economic wisdom. The rest of us just reinvested for short term stock purchases and cash for big gains when opportunity shows itself. Sorry your cabin funds bit the dust especially with your economic wisdom.

Hid cabin funds lost 3500 he is crushed it was potentially 7 million back in the day.

So when companies start laying off employees as cost cutting measures because their stock tanked is that a good thing too?
Which companies have started laying people off? Multi-nationals? There will be some short term pain. But the long term gain will be well worth it.
If we stay the course, there will actually be something that looks a whole lot like free trade instead of the US always bending over and grabbing our ankles.
The tariffs are reciprocal. Why don't you people understand that?

A market correction and a downturn was talked about right here on TD over the last several years.
This is not that.
This is something else in addition to that

You actually think there was not a single person stating stay the course and the markets isn't the economy.
No. I don't think anyone who did is relevant to this particular thread.
Which makes your "point" a whataboutism with literally no merit, as no "Bernie Bros" are posting ITT

Plan by who?
You haven't heard the "refi bro" (my name) theory behind this?
I can link you several threads (not made by me, obviously)

Like I said earlier, confidence is a big part of the economy and I don't know what will happen with lots of the MAGA rank and file realize the recession was the plan and not the 3 popular options. The fact that they're playing Art of the Deal and hiding the goal so they can't be wrong is hiding this a bit. If the "refi" plan is THE plan, they'll eventually figure it out. Then what?

If the stock market was booming right now this individual would be posting about how it had absolutely nothing to do with Trump.
Also, when the market improves he will say it has nothing to do with Trumps policies.
This is who SFP is.

Blame yourself for thinking two weeks would slow the spread or 3 days was actually the number. Nothing in macroeconomics moves that quickly but I am sure you knew that and just had a brain fart. Markets can move quickly and will (you were warned) but you must have had another brain fart. When trump is talking about economic policy I believe his goals but have enough knowledge to know when he is exaggerating on time lines. You should have that knowledge also Roger but you risk your investments on simple campaign quotes.

The stock market is reacting to his ridiculous and misleading rollout, not by some accident.

Soon it will be time to jump back into the market with both feet!

You don't even understand what we are discussing
Note: my post to which you replied had very little to do with the stock market
