They want to think they are being compassionate, it's a core of their self-identity. When confronted with the reality of what they are pushing, they react violently because it not only clashes with how they wish reality to be, but it holds up a mirror for them to see how horrible a person they are for pushing it.

You need to watch the video again.
The violent woman you're defending is the one who invaded the other's space.
Watch it again.
It starts with Violent Woman (VW) initially engaging the Older Woman (OM), who responded by asking questions, and initially VW was willing to engage in conversation, then SHE stated she was going to come over the OW's table and stand there (to directly protest OW's message).
So it would be like I had an anti-abortion table set up and you decided you were going to stand at the table and hold up a sign that said, "My body, my choice."
So while VW was standing at OW's table, OW kept asking questions on camera (which VW initially voluntarily approached, let's remember).
Eventually VW gets pissed off because she can't answer the questions and makes a terroristic threat (which is a crime) again OM, then leaves.
You're directly on the wrong side of this one. Sorry.

1) If you hate yourself, you need to change your gender.
2) Society must recognize your new gender, or they are killing your identity.
