You do realize you're the one who more closely resembles this with your "insurrection" take, right?
It was dishonest and doesn't reflect reality. It was a "half truth" and "deception for pernicious ends", as you said above.

I heard the word “insurrection “ a thousand times as definitive of the Jan 6 protests, SF. I did not coin it, the Dems/MSM did. Did you agree with said Narrative? I’m sure there are plenty of your posts to answer that but I won’t search them to make a point that is obvious.
Self delusion is a very real and dangerous thing as people take a hard stand on what they subjectively perceive truth to be. Talk will not change this delusion, only trauma sufficient to psychologically reset the reality base will.

First off
if you think dudes shooting Hi-Points with a third grade education are going to be building car bombs like they are the IRA. Secondly, you think the gangs that hate each other are suddenly going to leave all that behind to join forces and try to take on the US government? Why? What purpose does that solve? Doesn't it just make their situation worse with more police presence and attention?
These aren't religious or ideologically motivated terrorist fighting for a cause, they are a bunch of idiots trying to sling dope and to buy expensive things to flex with.
