It's a weird set of circumstances. I think they're going to fake a cyberattack on certain counties/precincts' election machines in an attempt to postpone the election.
CISA's charter has all counties prepared to go with paper ballots and registration poll books as a back-up failsafe.

Seems the past couple decades, this fear mongering from either side comes up every damn Presidential election season.
I remember Democrat Underground and leftist loons spreading fear mongering that GW Bush was going to cancel the 2004, then 2008 Elections to remain in power. Then under Obama, numerous posts on message boards and Facebook from folks on the right fear mongering that Obama was going to cancel the 2012 then 2016 Elections. Now here we are with the screeching, coming from the right that Biden will get us into a war in order to cancel the election and from the left that if Trump is elected, he won't allow the 2028 Elections to happen.
In the end, if Donald Trump wins, he will serve one term. He'll get in, say some stupid shite, probably do a bit of stupid shite here and there, then also say some good things and do more good things certainly than Potato Biden. Then the 2028 Election will take place, and Trump will vacate the White House in January 2029.

The United States is imperfect yes, but the United States is still the greatest and most prosperous nation on earth. What other country would you rather live in?

the party is actively spying on political opposition and media. they are jailing, conjured or fabricated charges, their opponents. they are attempting to delete their opposition from state ballots. they are demagoguing their oppositions as dictators, white supremacists, fascists, and so on. They are embroiling their opponents in resource draining lawfare. They are fighting to stop widely accepted election security measures like voter ID. They are kicking republican poll watchers out of voting locations. They are commanding social media companies to delete conservative speech. They are using the IRS to go after conservative non-profits and political leaders. They are using primary tricks to hand pick their candidates in spite of the voter. Their media is refusing to air the opposition leader's speeches due to "disinformation". I could go on.
And they look you right in the eye and tell you that the OTHER GUYS are the threat to democracy.

Saying that America has its imperfections in reference to the abject evil that our federal government has become is like calling 9/11 at the World Trade Center a capital improvement project.

That's some solid prose, but it's also really melodramatic and soap opera-ish.
Good thing you weren't around in the 1960s or the 1940s or the 1930s. Your head might have exploded right before you had a chance to set yourself on fire.
