Looks like Trump feels like he can control McCarthy or at least they worked out a deal for Trump’s support. Yes McCarthy sucks balls but there is a risk of getting a SoH that would be worse than McCarthy given the fact that the GOP only leads by 5 seats and there are some GOPers that would vote with Dems for new speaker.

Wednesday, the Speakership obviously will be filled by someone. Maybe there’s just not always going to be ideal person available or possible as an option in every situation. That said, we can’t just decry a move yet leave behind no suggested alternative. Who should be the next SOTH in your mind?

If I were in the HR I would vote for Biggs. I cannot in good conscience support that weasel. Not a piece of legislation should pass until 2024. Not one. The entire goal of the HR should be obstructing Ukraine spending and impeaching members of the executive branch. Not investigating shite- actually firing the people they can constitutionally fire, and while they are at it - eliminating their retirement benefits and publicly humiliating them to the point they are unemployable.
McCarthy will be trying to sugarcoat shitsandwiches Biden proposes with Law Titles that have nothing to do with what is in them.
