Socialism

"Everything I don't like is socialism!"

Let me add some more stupidity to the list:

Not wanting jobs shipped overseas - socialism
Not wanting monopolies - socialism
Not wanting to rely on foreign countries - socialism
Not wanting despondent youth with no jobs or houses - socialism
Not wanting 99% of the wealth concentrated with the 1% - socialism
Not accepting the monetary system that has been designed to screw over the average person - socialism
Wanting a fair market that benefits the middle class - socialism

It's amazing how many conservatives have been convinced to white knight for the uber wealthy and corporate power brokers while ensuring they stay disadvantaged all in the name of the "free" market that doesn't even exist.

These wealthy people buy politicians to pass laws that benefit them at your expense, and you just bend over and ask for more.

This is just January. He needs to slow down a little. Voters have notoriously short attention spans and will have forgotten all of this by Summer. Unless he has a plan to continually roll out policy that is good for your average American!

Agreed , but he’s up against leftists and media with the feelz about the evil ICE.

The mid terms will come down to voter turnout.

Will those items above drive turnout? Or the feelz?

The old adage coined by James Carville, "It's the economy, stupid", applies here.

If people are feeling better about the economy, they will vote for the incumbent. They certainly should be, as some of Trump's actions have had a direct positive effect on everyone's pocketbook.

Also, if you are one of those people who has been wanting to buy a house, how can you not love him for what he's doing to make it easier?

"Stupid America First"? Wtf has happened to you?
I'm seriously wondering how many people on here had their accounts canneed and repurposed or whether some more prominent posters were paid to shill. Bibi did say he wants to take on the far right and do so through social media.

Having a foreign actor say he wants to attack Americans and you're shilling for that ghoul from the ME? Yeah, no shite you don't like America First. MIGA more like.

Nobody knew about Qatar till Levin accused Tucker of it. I'll take Qatar over Isreal any day. And they are an actual US ally.

If you're not wearing a little hat, I can only pray for you.

Risk your life, right.

quote:

Fewer than 15% of U.S. service members see direct combat, with estimates suggesting around 10% of all personnel actually engaging in combat and firing weapons, though this varies significantly by role, branch, and conflict; roughly 40% of those who join never deploy to a combat zone, while only 10-20% of those deployed might end up in direct combat, highlighting that most military jobs are support-oriented.

So feeding off the VA trough. One of the most abused systems of the govt.

Which was great up until this week. I put in 2.16 gas to fill up last week, and then 2.65 this week. But it's the price of admission to all the winning this year so far.

Unfortunately, Congressional Republicans clearly don't want to win them.

Address people’s fears over the rising cost of living. Groceries, utilities, mortgages, vehicles, etc inflated so much that it’s going to take a generation or longer for most people’s wages to catch up, if ever. Students loans is another big one. Millennials and Gen Z were thrown straight into the college after high school pipeline, doing exactly as the country taught them, only to come out the other end during the Great Recession, followed by jobs being outsourced, automated, or replaced through H1Bs. Then the double whammy of the pandemic and inflation doubled fricked us again. And now, there’s having to deal with AI eliminating entry level roles in multiple industries, with robotics poised to do the same before long in manufacturing and other blue collar work. And yet, not a single peep from Trump on addressing these concerns.

I think the list in the OP shows that he is addressing those concerns. At least some of them.

I like all of that, but none of it has any teeth. 'Called for?' 'Made a priority?'

I'm hopeful that these things will happen but they have not yet happened.
