Regardless, if Trump catches a Sec 793 charge (no idea if he will or not) the right way to look at this is whether the document(s) contain National Defense Information. While the classification status is relevant, there are some things that are classified that are not NDI. All of it depends on exactly what documents he had in his possession (which we really don’t know a whole lot about right now).
