His administration, and the entire GOP generally, would be better off discussing and introducing actual policy. Quit engaging in these media slapfights. Engage the public and media in actual substantive matters like tax reform, healthcare, or education. Taking the bait on every little leftist blog and news segment is going to bog down his agenda.
It will also hurt the republicans in the midterms, potentially shortening his effective term. I understand that he isn't a politician. But that doesn't mean that politically expedient behavior is inherently bad.
