If any part at all of what you are saying is true, then Trump's whole campaign was an effort to promote Russia, fail to critique them at all, and to criticize literally everyone else. Nice script flipping.
I agree with you about what Russia has been doing. It has been deplorable. I also utterly detest the way that Obama has rolled over for Putin again and again. Pathetic. I think his grandstanding now is a mess and it goes along with his anti-Israel stance the other day. Pure garbage.
Trump chiming in only adds to the disaster and ultimately weakens his position. He should make clear that he'll investigate what happened and will make an appropriate determination on what to do and that any move against the integrity of the United States electoral system is not to be tolerated by anyone and there will be severe consequences. Why take the position he did? He boxed himself in a corner for no reason whatsoever and makes Putin look like the good guy and a victim. Utterly stupid.
You've out thought yourself on this one trying to be clever. Some basic American patriotism and non-partisan respect for the office of the presidency from Trump in this case would have strengthened his hand far more than this crap.
I can both be against Obama and his stupidity and against Trump and his chicanery at the same time. It is totally possible for them to both be wrong. We need Ronald Reagan. Not Richard Nixon and his China policy here. Look where that led us.

I'm not on the Left.
I've opposed what Russia is doing under Putin for years.
There is more than the Left and whatever Trump has dredged up from the outer banks of the Far Right. There are more than two positions completely opposite one another and both more interested in ideology and "winning" than country.
A lot of posters that I used to respect here and be in agreement with have completely bowed the knee to stupidity.

They can interfere by inserting themselves and their operations into our election proceedings. That is what is being alleged.

No the only acceptable position is to demand evidence. So far none has been provided.
The house intelligence committee requested the CIA to brief on this topic and the CIA refused.
I don't know if you understand that last statement. The House intelligence committee has oversight over the intelligence agencies. By law they can not refuse, but they did anyway.
