No. The hottest issues of the 2026 campaign were foreign policy and immigration. We got nothing on that. Instead, we had to hear about an Atlantic piece that was publicly refuted by everyone and some tripe about Trumps completely legal taxes.

What has Trump done for forestry management over the last 47 months? Has he signed an Executive Order?

Are you talking about state land? Private land? Or federal land?

Has Biden called a lid for tomorrow already so he can sleep in and recover?

Wallace was bull shite for that taxes question to Trump. That is so low brow bull shite. The story is unsubstantiated and a crime was committed for them to even have the information. Until it was confirmed by Trump it should have been off limits. The fact the Wallace took what the NYT said a gospel is BS.
Absolutely. A rumor has no place as a question in a debate.
The left pushes these things because they know most people are ignorant about taxes. It just plays into class warfare.

I really hate this fact checker on CNN. He's easily the most partisan, douchy personality they have.
It's CNN. What did you expect?

wrong about
and wrong about
- taxes not being highlighted then, forever promised when asked about ever since, and proven wrong by them being actively sought in the courts of both legal and public appeal for four years
doesn't even begin to answer the still lingering question.

I thought Trump made the more valid points. I think Biden showed he would stand up to Trump.
Distilling what was said, I think Trump "won", but left a lot of points on the field.
I think he could have destroyed Biden's 500,000 electric car Federal fleet with charging stations, by bringing up that the power stations need to get power from somewhere- so how does that help the environment? Solar or wind energy? California tries that, which is why they have rolling blackouts- because they can't power what they have now. More electric cars there, and you get even more blackouts. I laughed at that, but I think a lot of people simply don't understand it.
I also say, I don't get some of the questions. Call me a redneck and a bigot if you want, but I'm not concerned about global warming. Not to the point that we need to drop back into the 1800's and give up AC, transportation, electricity (including all these internet devices) to lower the global temp a degree.
And I'm not in favor of racial sensitivity training. It's fricking condescending to all parties; simple common decency works just fine.
Ask shite that means something to mainstream Americans.

Suburban white women decide the election, they will poll that they didn’t like Trump the bully. But they will vote for the candidate that gives them the strongest sense of safety and leadership. That ain’t Joe Biden.
Trump is not a pol, he is a pundit. Pundits don’t make points, they punch. Biden is an old school DC operator, he wasn’t prepared for the onslaught of punches that DJT threw at him. Three months of softballs and zoom calls and he got over run. The lighting onstage didn’t help him, his skin is so thin he looks translucent like a ghost.
Those turned off by Trump’s attitude and demeanor aren’t voting for him anyway.

I couldn't watch. Did Trump talk about the Middle East or any actual policy victory?

How many times did Biden either refuse to answer, claim something was discredited that has not been, or go against his own earlier answer and Wallace cut off all discussion to move on without clarification?
Biden said all in the same sentence “there is systemic racism in America, most suburbs were now integrated, and more blacks, whites, and Hispanics riding together to soccer games than ever.” Trump should have said which is it Joe, it cant be both.
