Let's do it your way. Round up and say Obama received 70 mil votes out of a total 131 mil cast. That's 53% of the total vote. Biden got a little over 51% of the total vote.

Seems to follow the pattern of midterm to general jump. Look at 2010-2012, 2014-2016.

Seriously?
Obama garnered about 1% less of the registered vote in 2008 than Biden supposedly did in 2020, assuming the 2020 numbers are right.
Biden claimed to receive 81.3M votes*. The claim is there were 168.3M individually registered voters (which under the circumstances, is asinine). Nonetheless, Biden collected 48.3% of THAT total. Not the 45% you claimed.
