My initial statement

well, right now nearly all of the DimMedia is against Trump's military actions against Iran's terrorist network operations.
If a Democrat were in office, they'd be cheering it. The point is, Tucker is consistent in opposing military action in that part of the world. He isn't a partisan.

Trump has been vigilant in opposing any kind of war, and even the ultra hawks in his cabinet like Pompeo. Now, all of a sudden there’s unquestioned, undeniable intelligence that they’re planning on attacking us? Excuse me if I’m a little skeptical of our intelligence agencies.

We conflated an Iraqi attack, with some kind of Iranian menace. And in the process we’ve provoked an unnecessary fight that could lead to a regional war.
Iran isn’t a threat to American security.
China is.

I'm so confused about "retaliation for storming our embassy and rocket attack killing an American civilian" = "permanent war". How does that work??
Tucker has been talking about this issue for years, long before Soleimani. There hasn't been a day since the Korean War began 70 years ago that the United States hasn't been engaged in either open or covert warfare around the globe. And given our history in that part of the world how could one not be concerned about an escalation?

Correct me on that if I’m wrong.

He supported the war in Iraq initially

He supported the invasion of Iraq.

I like Tucker but he’s wrong...

He's followed the path of former NC congressman Walter Jones. Initially supported the Iraq War and a year later said he was ashamed to have supported it and said never again. He supported Ron Paul's candidacies and has been openly critical of neoconservatism and internationalism since being on Fox.

As the rationale for the war fell apart, I think he began to question his own positions.

His position on this is just ignorant. We killed a known Terrorist that was literally in the process of developing even more casualties. Tucker can eat a dick and shut the hell up on this one
To be fair
His position is that there shouldn't be any American troops in the area for the Iranians to plot against

Yea, I just found the reference to that:
Carlson initially supported the Iraq War. However, a year after the invasion of Iraq, he began criticizing the war, telling The New York Observer: "I think it's a total nightmare and disaster, and I'm ashamed that I went against my own instincts in supporting it. It's something I'll never do again.
That is from Wiki.
At least he recognized that he was wrong and admitted it.

So did Glenn Greenwald. Then he became the journalist most opposed to American foreign policy and empire.

I'm seeing it as killing of an Iranian terrorist on Iraqi soil, where we have the operational ability to do so. And operarional authority as far as I'm concerned. He was the common denominator in many American deaths as well as many, many civilian deaths both in his own country and throughout the region.
Say we'd pulled out of the M.E. with the exception of 2 bases. One in Kuwait.....if Iran were to sail a missle into Kuwait and it hit an American base.
Are we not to retaliate given the possibility that it could draw us into a larger situation?

Yea he woke up to what was really happening and had enough integrity to admit he was wrong

See question above....I am interested in your thoughts on that as well.

He believes that the Levant is too uncivilized to rule. Not because he believes in non-interventionism anywhere.
