Over 50% of middle schoolers in TUSD are least 3 grade levels behind in ELA.

And it's getting worse -

Over 70% of TUSD 3rd graders do not meet minimum proficiency standards in ELA.

Ultimately self serving. If we deport all the illegals out of AZ they won’t need but half the teachers.

You are correct sir. I have lived in Tucson for 20 years… from Shreveport, grew up in Durango CO and then landed in Tucson for an athletic scholarship in 2004….

I have lived around campus and other areas of town and now live in the foothills. Tucson itself is a shithole… but the affluent areas around town are very nice
