Was there more to the black wall street situation that what you will read in articles when doing a google search.

It says there were 39 blacks killed and 13 whites.

There is two different reports of what happened.

One being a black dude and an old white man got into it. The white man tried to disarm the black guy, he accidently fired in the air and then the whites came and outnumbered the blacks.

Then there is the story that a group of white men were attacking a black dude and then black business owners came out and attacked the white men and it stemmed from there. I know it was a different time, but that lead to a shootout where 56 people were killed?

Well you seem to have read up on it so why don't you refer to that it was a race riot

not a running gun battle

When reparations gets brought up I think a lot of folks in line to benefit assume it’s a direct cash payments. Boy are they gonna be disappointed.

The slobbers will automatically downvote when certain words ring the bell, but you are correct on your point.

Yes, it’s 100-percent wrong to give blanket cash payments to folks. But in certain targeted cases it MAY be appropriate.

Do it. Drive out the most successful people in your city so you can destroy it like blacks have done to other great American cities.

The "Black Wall Street" massacre never happened. Aircraft dropping bombs on black businesses is a total fabrication. Attempts to excavate the site can't even find it

The bulshit is real on this one.

Yeah. I mean Detroit was once thriving too. Seems like...well, you can draw your own conclusions

I mean, in this case, Tulsa’s black Greenwood District was bombed and set on fire by a white mob. It was one of the wealthiest predominantly black areas in the country.

Never happened. They can't even locate the area or graves.

In ten years, it will all have been wasted, and they will still be asking for more and screaming about white privilege.

They already always ignore decades of affirmative action, quotas, special scholarships, special treatment, lower expectations, punitive damages granted in any lawsuit involving alleged racism to any small degree, their out of proportion generational welfare, costs of their out of proportion violent crime across the country, the costs of multiple riots, the cost of trying to teach people how to deal with blacks’ fragile egos and broken culture, and all the private charity that has been given to them one way or the other.

They ignore more recent stuff after the summer of love. More money was flowing in towards blacks than I have ever seen. Given unearned employment positions, scholarships, even med school admissions with lower standards, and so on including limiting negative press on crimes by blacks.

I do not support handing out money.. but you really do not think this happened?….. I lived in Tulsa a bit ..

It is not a “site”… it was a district.. not hard to find..

Do those programs ever work? It usually ends up being something where there are a lot of misused funds, etc.

This is all reparations will ever be. Its not going to be a direct payment. It'll be politicians "creating opportunity programs" which is just stealing tax payer monies and assigning it to donors and friends and themselves.
