Because it was probably a 22 year-old social media rep responding cautiously to a customer concern posted online. Corporations often err on the side of over-warning online, especially in a one-off tweet, because the legal department would rather they say “don’t use while pregnant” than “it’s safe, don’t worry” and get sued later. A single post on Twitter =/= official medical guidance, FDA labeling, or scientific evidence.
