Didn’t a President get impeached for a phone call over a Money Laundering operation between a former Vice President’s crackhead son at the time and a Ukrainian business involving access to Vice President aka the Big Guy.

Integration with the EU was extremely popular across Ukraine (urban, rural, and even areas like the Donbas all supported it).
The President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, did an incredibly stupid and unpopular thing by unilaterally pulling the plug on EU integration at the 11th Hour, due to pressure from Russia.
Then Yanukovych doubled down by agreeing to a trade agreement with Russia that was even less popular than vacating EU integration.
That's what started this whole thing.

So I watched the video.
The big “money laundering” scheme is to…pay for electricity infrastructure because Russia keeps destroying it?
I don’t think that is the gotcha you think it is.

It was signed by Yanukovych, Poland, Germany, and France, but Russia abstained. Yanukovych refused to implement the agreement and fled to Russia.
6 days later on February 27th the invasion in eastern Ukraine began.
It had nothing to do with the CIA it had to do with a Putin plant that got kicked out of office. Thinking he could no longer control Crimea Putin invaded eastern Ukraine.
