Nothing happened? We are sending, ships, planes, and troops to the area. The only reason it feels like the momentum has been lost is because "experts" on the internet and media believed we were going to do something the other night.
Who knows what's going on with this Administration. But the fleet movement is probably just precautionary to protect Israel in case Iran in their death throes actually launches on them.
I am not military expert but wouldn't it be wise to have the ships in the Persian Gulf area to protect Israel as well as American interests, troops, bases, and other allies in the region BEFORE sending in strikes.

The mood has definitely shifted though.
What mood are you taking about? The mood on the ground in Iran or the moof online? I do not give a flying weasel shite about the mood online because it does not matter. What matters is the moof on the ground. I saw on X that protests continue and the regime is having to call in 5000 militia from Iraq because they have been unable to regain control. I have seen nothing online to support your claim that the mood has shifted at least for the mood that matters.

The Pentagon has sent the second carrier strike group, USS George Bush, towards the Middle East.
The aircraft carrier with its strike group will cross the Atlantic Ocean in about 10 days, enter the Mediterranean Sea, and either position near the Israeli coast or pass through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea to prepare for a potential escalation with Iran.

Fox News has officially confirmed its claim from yesterday:
A full army is heading to the Middle East — air, ground, and sea forces.
This is no longer about just hitting a few IRGC bases and the state TV building
They say the cost of this deployment, just to reach the region, is 6–7 billion dollars.
Only wish they capture Khamenei alive!

If tweet fails to load, click here. The people in charge over there are really really brainwashed or complete idiots. Why would they keep doing shite to antagonize the USA and the rest of the civilized world when their regime is facing its biggest challenge in its history? I guess they are wanting to get bombed and/or strung on light poles and cherry pickers by the protesters.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Trump is definitely backing down and abandoning the protesters (sarcasm). By ending a second carrier task force to the Middle East. That will make three if you include the Roosevelt in the Red Sea. What on earth could we possibly do with 2-3 carriers in the region?

I think the military told Trump they need just some more time to position forces and coordinate with Israel. IMO the hit is coming.

They think this is "Holy War". They're in for a rude awakening

U.S. JUST MOVED MYSTERY CARGO TO INDIAN OCEAN AIRBASE… YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS
Three C-17s flew out of Ramstein airbase in Germany and landed at Diego Garcia, the U.S. military’s “middle of nowhere” for serious stuff in the Middle East.
No word on what they were carrying, but it’s definitely something big, as this kinda move doesn’t happen for fun.
If there’s a strike on Iran coming, odds are it’s coming from there.

Iran is becoming North Korea.
The only real difference is the mullahs don't have nuclear weapons yet, and there is still a chance to free 90 million hostages living there.
I'm hearing people there are somehow still finding ways to form crowds outside of city centres. People haven't given it at all and are defying curfews in whatever way they can.
There's chants everywhere, and also reported assassinations of regime figures based on pre-blackout doxxing.
This is a MAJOR reason the internet isn't back. The mullahs know they've gone beyond too far this time, and if they allow the population to communicate, there will be revenge killings. There will be a modern day Order of Assassins, but instead of Alamut Castle, their base is social media, X, Telegram, you name it.
What the regime is doing is circling a death spiral. They're desperate and there's no way to maintain even a barely functioning dictatorship this way. There is a reason why they claim victory while forging passports and wiring money out of the country.

Yes, that is true as well and could very well happen. I'm just saying I feel like that movement is in response to threats that Iran made towards Isreal MORE than US striking targets in the region.

What mood are you taking about?
The attitude this administration has publicly towards launching a military strike against Iran. Before two days ago, I would have though a strike was imminent and due to public statements recently made, that mood seems to have shifted.
Also the attitude some of the more public Iranian diaspora has online. Their mood is dampened regarding US intervention as well.
I did caveat all of this by saying "Who knows what this administration is doing". They most certainly aren't going to advertise anything publicly.

Hopefully by March 20th, the Islamic Republic is no longer around to keep blocking out communications.
