I believe that when it comes, it will be totally devastating wiping out most the command and control, all defensive and offensive launch capabilities, and most of their armed personnel.

Assets as well are needed for any neighboring country launching retaliating rocket strikes against civilians.

The people in charge over there are really really brainwashed or complete idiots. Why would they keep doing shite to antagonize the USA and the rest of the civilized world when their regime is facing its biggest challenge in its history? I guess they are wanting to get bombed and/or strung on light poles and cherry pickers by the protesters.
Really, it's a classic crisis management ploy by a desperate regime that's collapsing from all directions.
It's a Hail Mary; trying to say all the problems are being caused by an outside enemy that is attacking them. They obviously need to unite against that enemy, etc.
I can't see it working, but you knew they'd play that card at some point. I mean, you may as well try everything you can.

I think they are going to do some operation eventually. It won’t be before the carrier group arrives.
Trump is playing a map game basically like clash of crusaders and consolidating his power while making the most he can in terms of damaging his biggest threats by doing away with their allies.
Venezuela and Iran falling would cripple Chyna’s ability to get oil most likely making them a limp dicked threat for maybe 20 years and mark the beginning of the end of the war in Ukraine as we can flood the entire world with cheap crude massively undercutting Putin entire war economy.
IMO this is the big picture to all this
