I'm not a typical conspiracy theorist. But Iran just saw Trump make moves on them and the best they could do in response was a pre orchestrated missile attack with zero impact in response.
And now, with the regime hanging in the balance, it looks like they're setting the table for US strikes. Crackdown, tests, inflammatory anti-US rhetoric, communication freeze out...
I don't think highly of the regime, but it didn't survive this long being as emotionally unhinged as often portrayed. It's far more pragmatic than other regional theocratic entities. So what's really happening here?
- Are we being fed pretext by Western/Israeli governments that may or may not be the full truth to bolster the case for action?
- Is Iran really doing everything as said, with a misguided belief that this will dissuade Trump?
- Are these part of some overall theatrics both sides are in on?

It seems that an overwhelming majority of the protestors want him back and return to a Monarchy, albeit most likely a Constitutional Monarchy. It should be up to them to decide.
