I'm pretty sure this video was going around a few weeks after the protests started. Could be wrong but I don't think it's from the last day or 2

To everyone arguing about weapons, here’s a bump steer.

Why haven't I heard that argument before?

If Bibi would GTFO of the way and allow Trump to dismantle the China energy nexus that includes Iran this argument would receive a lot more support than the "we are doing it for Israel" argument and as a result Bibi benefits.

You kill the Ayatollah and his brother and the top generals and those mullahs will be hanging from lightposts the next day.

C. JCPOA Verification and Monitoring Activities
5. Between 16 January 2016 (JCPOA Implementation Day) and 8 May 2019, the Agency verified and monitored Iran’s implementation of its nuclear-related commitments in accordance with the modalities set out in the JCPOA,6 consistent with the Agency’s standard safeguards practices.7,8
6. From 8 May 2019 onwards, however, Iran stopped implementing its nuclear-related commitments under the JCPOA on a step-by-step basis until, on 23 February 2021, it stopped implementing them altogether, including the Additional Protocol. As a result, Iran no longer allows the Agency to conduct the following verification and monitoring activities in relation to the JCPOA:

Huh I wonder what happened on May 8, 2019.

It doesn't matter if you do not care about public opinion.

Seems likely because the talks wrapped up without a breakthrough but are set to resume soon—with technical-level discussions scheduled to begin next week (likely starting Monday) in Vienna, involving experts and possibly IAEA-related monitoring elements.

But Trump likes to surprise. So there's that.

I just struggle to see what Trump can get that is a win for him (without war). And I'm not throwing that out thoughtlessly.

Given our (reasonable, IMO) disdain for JCPOA, it seems impossible the regime can remain and we can get sufficient action to make this markedly more defensible. Especially given Trump's comments early in the protests.

Admittedly, I am very interested to see a potential paradigm shift in real time in the region, but I'm not so callous that I want war just for sport.

Iran regime change is not the end goal.

I believe regime change with the Iranian people determining their future form of governing is the end goal exactly. You say it isn't.

If not regime change, then what is the end goal in your opinion?

I see why everybody here thinks you’re a clown. Aside from the fact that I already argued this is not about weapons... I’ll entertain your stupid viewpoints.

Your own source GOV/2025/24 is being cited by the E3 as evidence that Iran is in sweeping non performance. The report documents roughly 8,400 kg of enriched UF6, enrichment up to 60 percent, prohibited activity at Fordow, installation and operation of advanced centrifuges, and major monitoring rollbacks.

Separately, on 12 June 2025 the IAEA Board of Governors formally found Iran non compliant with its safeguards obligations. So the claim that Iran has not violated any agreements is simply false unless you redefine agreement to mean something narrower than what the IAEA, the Board, and the E3 are actually referring to.

Regime change certainly is the goal but that’s not the bigger prize is what I’m getting at.
