What do you expect him to do? Were you expecting air strikes them moment protesters took to the streets? Furthermore, this idea that we go balls deep with immediate military intervention ignores the very mind set of that entire region and the lessons of Iraq and Afghanistan.. A rush to military action against the regime can easily galvanize resistance against us both inside and outside of Iran. The last thing you want to happen is to rally the regime and the people around each other by going in guns blazing and blowing shite up.

What is naive, is thinking that while the people are standing up against this evil and being slaughtered the best course of action is to do nothing!
Obama, the vile henchmen for the left, did nothing and allowed the fascist Islamic mullahs to slaughter and root out patriotic opposition and further consolidate power in Iran. And while in power with the help of the buffoon and traitor John Kerry the mullahs have delivered death and destruction around the world.
