Iran has a bit more of a functioning society than a lot of countries facing regime change.
I’m sure part of our approach is how to help without having to rebuild too much of that functioning society.
If it was a complete shithole, helping would be simpler.

It seems there is now a consensus that strikes are imminent, and the evacuation of bases only adds credibility to those claims.
I wonder if anyone else will join us, or if it'll be another case of the United States doing the dirty work for the rest of the world, who is too scared and weak to assist.
If I were a betting man, Israel will participate because they want their pound of flesh, and they'll be in the line of fire when Iran retaliates, regardless of what they do.
