In combined arms they would get wrecked. Russia has numbers and that is about it. It isnt nothing though

Not really. The Soviet Union HAD numbers, but those numbers were cut by almost 2/3 when the Soviet Union dissolved. Couple that with Russia's horrendous demography and they're running out of 20-something men to do their fighting.

Do you idiots even realize that the alternative to Putin is a straight up Soviet style Communist?

Yep. NATO was formed to counter the USSR. Russia would be destroyed. Putin attacking NATO would be suicide. Putin is many things but he’s not suicidal

Today, Biden and Zelenskyy will "sign an agreement between the United States and Ukraine, a bilateral security agreement. What that means...is that we’re committing to support Ukraine as it builds up its defenses for the next 10 years."

Is that Congressionally approved? If not then good luck.

Also, why 10 years? Who, other than Russia, is a threat to Ukraine? Are we expecting 10 more years of Russia fighting Ukraine?

Just google Putin's track record of invasions. He doesn't stop, just regroups. It is safe to say he has an overall grand plan. So there is some fact to base it off of right there. The disinformation a lot of times is coming from the Russians.

Then NATO countries need boost their defense spending, and answer as a group when/if Russia attacks a NATO member.

So why hasn’t he invaded the Baltic States?

If I understand correctly, it is illegal to add a country to NATO while at war with an anti NATO group like Warsaw Pact.
It’s a NATO policy to not admit a prospective new member who is currently in a territorial dispute with another country.

“Illegal” means an action violates a law. NATO’s membership rules are not laws.

But I appreciate your input.

According to 2 Baltic countries Russia is already violating their sovereignty via “hybrid war” tactics.

jesus, you are either retarded, ignorant or super low IQ…

Or you get all your insight from THE VIEW??

Russia has been saying they want to draw the line and stop this BS, but the West doesn’t wan’t to make a peace deal, they need never ending wars.

just like they do not want to cure cancer or other sicknesses, they just want the treatment with prescriptions.

Then what are there terms? Don't answer if you cannot have an actual conversation. Save that for the democratic underground

Question for you? Why did Putin just recently decide to invade Ukraine?

I subscribe to the theory that he wants to expand to the strategic gaps to have a border they can defend. Another member posted this earlier here

You don’t think it had anything to do with serious consideration of Ukraine being admitted into NATO? How about Georgia in 2008? Would he have attacked either if they had already been in NATO? Again if he attacks a NATO member then he’s committed to fighting all of NATO. He basically said it’s now or never.

It is now or never. Losing millions in two world wars has devastated their population. They don't have the manpower to defend a long border

They definitely do not have the manpower to fight NATO. That’s why I don’t see them expanding into any adjacent NATO countries
