However, I do agree with you that this should be an Army thing but it’s irrelevant. The president issued the order.

Serious question (not being an arse) but did he? I didnt see where marines were assigned to the border by Trump.

I imagined a scenario where he wanted troops at the border and the Joint Chiefs gave him options regarding the best troops for the task. I cant imagine that advice included any MEU's.

Besides if it's going to be USACE personnel constructing the border wall I would imagine the Army would be providing security.

“Most countries” don’t militarize their borders.

Island countries, and subjugated nations (EU) typically do not have guns at the border...

Others do have national organizations with weapons at their entry areas.

Yes, God forbid you can have a slight change of opinion after debating. I went from thinking that he was 100% wrong to 75% wrong.

So you served over 10 years.
If you enlisted at 18, you’re 28 at youngest.

I believe you’re much older than that. Makes sense now.

You’re some old fart not a youngin.

Makes your retarded takes even worse.
But your faggy avatar is still atrocious.

It's because you aren't as clever as you think you are. You are purposefully vague so you can take either side when someone tries to debate you.

Why must you troll every thread?

He didn’t publicly question the president

He wants his Marines to be the most effective expeditionary force they can be and being border guard does not help achieve that goal.

I'm in my 30's. I enlisted as a sophomore in college. I've been retired for a few years now.

I disagree. The responses support that disagreement.

Well, if Gen. Neller said that then he must have. I can’t see a General not named Stanley McChrystal shooting off at the mouth over something that wasn’t issued.

Also agree and it should be the charge of the army. But if POTUS orders the Marines there then what can they do?

You got sand in your arse because you think I said your $100 lower was budget. Then you followed me around to every thread I posted in on that board. That wasn't enough, so you followed me to the M/TV board. My dick is still in your brain, so now you've followed me here...
