I dislike stupid arguments especially about public health. I deal with the consequences of this nonsense all the time. It’s so militantly stupid and you and others don’t care that this rhetoric ends up hurting real people. I started doing outreach at public high schools about vaccinations and my god the stories those kids tell me about the stupidity of their parents. Blaming immigrants for trends that already exist in America is a choice and a very stupid one at that.

Trump has exposed Pfizer and all of the piece of shite vaccine makers for what they are - a death cult.
Your body doesn’t need vaccines.

Ignoring the role immigrants play in public health isn't very bright. Nowhere did I say they were the sole source of disease, but your denying they have any role at all is an interesting stance to take- especially in areas with high immigrant populations.
Have a lovely day.

Lady, look at the overall trend of cases. It makes the opposite point that you are making. In other words, the more immigrants in the country, there is a corresponding decrease in caseload. The increase post-pandemic represents the 12th lowest incidence total since we started tracking cases. Stop making retarded points and start listening. Or believe whatever propaganda is convenient for you. You are wrong regardless.

Yeah they generally do. The gifts they’ve given me lately have been very thoughtful.

This makes no sense.

What does the incidence total suggest? Look at the data. Correlate it with demographic data. What does it say?

Would that I could, but according to CDC and others...

Republicans are weird in SC... I proffer Lindsey Graham as an example.

Uh, do you know how an incidence rate is calculated? You don’t need to look at CDC provided data, you can look at the total population demographics. I suspect you don’t want to look at that because it would fly in the face of your notion. I am asking you a very simple question and you keep avoiding the answer.

Tell me how I would parse out TB rates by immigration status.

Disproportionate Impact: Non-U.S.-born individuals account for a large majority (around 76%) of TB cases in the U.S. and have much higher incidence rates (e.g., 15.5 per 100k vs. 0.8 for U.S.-born in 2024).

Sallly, you incredibly silly girl, even with these supposed open borders, the total number of TB cases is is 13000 cases lower now than it was in 1996. I am asking you why this is if immigrants are such a vector of note for new cases? We know immigrants can be a demographic at risk because of the pathophysiology of TB, which can have very long latent phases which might only be provoked through other immunological insult, for example. There are something like 10 million TB cases every year worldwide, and despite that, despite this 'open borders' nonsense, our caseload from year to year has decreased in general while the incidence rate has fallen below 3 per 100000, a feat we only achieved in 2013. Your argument is nonsensical because your claim flies in the face of the data, which we can easily cross-reference with the total population demographics. Again, I'm not sure you are open to understanding how silly your argument is, but it is very silly and stupid.

Yeah, sucks for you that you don't get some incredibly thoughtful gifts from anyone. Ho-hum.

We are in an upswing, doctor friend.

Sally, the total incidence rate is the same as for 2016. The pandemic years likely suppressed reporting, but again, the incidence rate for TB, even with the increase in cases back to totals reminiscent of 2012-2017, is still the 8th lowest incidence rate on record.
Again, if 'open borders' is such a problem in terms of disease loads, why has the total number of cases and the incidence decreased so dramatically from when the country had less immigrants? This is in spite increased immigration from 'high burden' TB countries such as India, China, Nigeria, and other places. Your argument doesn't make any sense when we look at the totality of the data.
