I still think you are confused about what I am saying. I am not saying that none of you said there would be a slippery slope. And I'm also not saying that they're won't be.
What I'm saying is: I have never seen any evidence that the motivated "statue people" have EVER said they would "stop at just a few statues". Seriously, who ever said this?
I am further saying that building renaming is not actually distinct from statues. It's the same shite - memorialization.
