I'm more curious about the overall health effects of long term marijuana use.
I can tell you first hand generationally it zero tangible effects & I would argue it has positive results to over all wellness.

It's completely possible to perform work within the parameters of your working hours and not allow the boss to shoulder the burden of work - for free, no less - during your leisure time.
That's a damn workaholics' excuse. You should probably take some time off for yourself in the near future.

So this is the thread where all the small govt conservatives come together and say how much we need the nanny state to ensure the people can't hurt themselves by smoking plants.
It's also the thread where libertarians pretend that laws against weed ARE nanny state but laws against crack and meth ARE NOT nanny state.

You should stick to math topics and bad athletic programs.

There doesn't need to be any argument other than the fact that consenting adults should be allowed to do as they please with their own bodies and in their own time.
I absolutely love when people bring up this little tidbit. Are you also pro-choice?

That’s the same argument people who want to keep it illegal make, you just disagree with them over where to draw the line. I would probably draw it in the same place as you for what it’s worth, but several of you are making blue-face-paint-FREEDOM arguments but as soon as someone drills down a bit we get “well, I didn’t mean THAT much freedom”.
Let's draw it on the other side of alcohol again and go back to the 1920s? How about that line? Or is THAT not enough FREEDOM?
Some of you people sound like Jack Webb on Dragnet. But keep trying to equate smoking weed to smoking meth and crack and making yourself sound like a moron.

Yes by all means, let's legalize something that will drive more people to stay home and not work, not be a productive member of society, or give a shite about anything
I don’t know why people downvote this. I smoked for about 4 months once. I was completely worthless the whole time. When I wasn’t working anyway

Someone is.
I specifically said I would probably legalize it, but don't let that get in the way of a good rant.

That guy definitely didn't like the weed, that's for sure

There's this thing called "tolerance" for the effects. You don't seem to have any but, and this is probably going to be a major shocker, other people do.
Posted on 4/1/22 at 2:40 pm to DaleGribble
Tolerance isn’t a good thing when talking about any substance
Posted on 4/1/22 at 2:42 pm to xxTIMMYxx
So it should be illegal because you can’t handle it?
Posted on 4/1/22 at 2:43 pm to Flats
You've also repeatedly tried to lump them all into the same category and make it seem like anyone that is for legalizing weed but isn't okay with legalizing the other two is being a hypocrite.
It's like we're back in the days of the "weed is the gateway to all other drug use" bullshite of the 60s,70s, and 80s.
I live in a state where every drug is decriminalized. If you want to do that to your state, just because some people want to be able to go to a dispensary to buy their weed, go for it.

I don’t care whether it’s illegal or not. Just making comments.

This seems to permeate your position on every issue on this board. I would hate to see how much you discuss things you actually do care about.

have they voted, yet?
The House passed it, or will shortly. Won’t matter, the Senate isn’t going to take it up.

All drugs should be legal
Funny thing, if they hadn't cracked down so hard on cocaine, Meth wouldn't have made such an impact. When legal venues are closed, people find more dangerous ones.
