Pretending like it doesn't matter is pretty stupid. If it didn't matter, 90% of the people on the ads on my idiot box wouldn't be black.
Black people are 15% of the population. If it didn't matter, 15% of the people on the screen would be black and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Strangely, that's not the case.

i think that they (advertising, media, etc.) are trying to brainwash us....just like most of the shows...they make us think that this is the norm when quite obviously it is not & if they happen to sell a few products, so much the better....
