Second, Europe could resist Islamic immigration, but it’s not intuitive that this would change much. The European birth rates are the real problem. Without those picking up, Europe would fall one way or the other. Same with us.
This thread is not about European birth rates.
Why did you dismiss the OP and claim it’s irrelevant simply because there are also other issues out there?
Being overrun by Muslims is no big deal because of this other issue? I don’t get your post.

We hear very often of the “Islamic Golden Age,” which lasted from the 8th to the 13th century BCE, but when we look further into history, it was in fact much more of a Persian Golden Age.
Algebra
Khwarizmi, a Persian mathematician, invented modern day Algebra, and the word Algorithm, is even an latinised form of his name. Al-Khwarizmi's Kitab al-mukhtasar fi hisab al-jabr wal-muqabala (The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completion and Balancing) was a pioneering piece of work - offering practical answers for land distribution, rules on inheritance and distributing salaries.
Astronomy
Historically astronomy has occupied an important position in Persian culture. Many prominent astronomers such as Biruni and Khayyam in the first half of the 11th century and Tusi in the 13th century have played major roles in the advancement of astronomy in Iran during their times. Likewise, astronomy schools such as Maragheh Observatory (13th century) were once among the most prestigious astronomy research institutes in the world.
Persians also invented a lot of useful stuff, like the battery and the refrigerator, unlike the goat frickers.

Not surprised you believe this. It’s something parroted by academia for years.
The truth is Islamic invaders get credit for “scientific advancement” which were not theirs but the peoples whom they subjugated. For example, “Arabic” numerals were invented by the people of Assyria prior to the invasion of Islamic marauders.

Sorry, what I meant was Muslims overrunning Europe is going to happen one way or the other. It’s the birth rates that matter. Muslims are outbreeding us, therefore they will eventually be our masters…unless we change.
The leaders in Europe think their choice is between Low immigration resulting in economic collapse due to lack of people on the one hand, and High immigration resulting in a stable economy and a quickly changing demographic makeup. They are choosing the latter. I’d choose the former, but it’s hard to imagine a third choice.

I certainly don’t believe that any feature of Islam helped promote science. But science was preserved and advanced in their areas while Christianity fell into chaos.

I have a good friend who is Iranian. In the 80’s he told me, “All my life I was taught of the evils that the Arabs had done to my people. Then I came to America, and here I am an A-Rab.”
