Democrats don’t want Shapiro or Newsom. I deal with leftists everyday, I think this primary will be their 2016. And yes, they can win if we continue on this track.

The outfit you posted this poll from had Trump over Biden 46-38 in the Summer of 2024. They had Harris over Trump 46.4 - 45.9 when excluding "leaners", but when including them, had Trump over Harris 50.1 - 49.9.
They also recently have published from their polling results that Americans support using tariffs to replace the income tax, and that MAHA is still supported by a majority of Americans.
So you're basically being "blasted" on here for posting this poll by people who are ignorant. Big Data may very well still have personal biases, but their polling doesn't reflect them being some big left-wing driven outfit like Quinnipac or NYTimes/Sienna.

I do agree Shapiro is probably "too pro-America" for your average activist Democrat Primary voter. However, if they want to win in 2028, I do think he's their best shot. Buttjugg won't cut it.

The only competition JD Vance will have will be from Marco Rubio or Ron DeSantis and unfortunately it will not be DeSantis because he's terrible on the campaign trail.. and I am a huge DeSantis fan.. probably the best Governor of my lifetime
