Unfortunately there are a lot of them to pick from but the Viet Nam war would have to be up there near the top.
LBJ used the escalation of that war to cover an assassination of JFK as well as a way to funnel billions of dollars to companies he and his cronies made money off of. The war resulted in over 58,000 Americans losing their lives over a political smoke screen involving 2 nations that meant absolutely nothing to the American people.
It caused division and hardship in the states and gave LBJ the basis to begin the War on Poverty legislation that he used to successfully trap millions of low income, mostly minority families into the web of welfare poverty which he accurately bragged would entrap welfare recipients for 200 years.
The Viet Nam war had such a long term and staggering affect on the nation that we are still reeling from it, our nation’s government is being controlled and run NOW by men and women from the Viet Nam war generation.

There was never any credible evidence that Saddam had nukes, which is the ONLY way the MIC could get the public’s support.

Interesting find. I remember stumbling onto Operation Highjump years ago too. Interesting yet sad what our government is willing to conceal to paint a narrative.
