Minneapolis is the toilet bowl of that state. From what I've heard from past MN residents, the Somalian refugees who started showing up mid-90's ran it into the ground.

I grew up there and they've always had a bent to do batshit crazy things.
About the time I left a guy who owned a chain of lumber yards ran for the US Senate and won (Rudy Boswhich / Plywood Minnesota). Since then they've elected more oddball outsiders like wrestler Jesse Ventura and comedian Al Franken. Amy Klobachar's dad was a long-time sports writer.
I haven't lived there in 40+ years so I'm not close enough to the situation to know what caused them to dive into the deep end of the nut job pool. In trips home the people are still super nice and generally have a live and let live / non-confrontational demeanor. Of course, I'm not hanging out with the blue hair, nose rings.
Minneapolis is still a beautiful city, but I can't imagine living there for a lot of reasons including the weather and taxes.

The only reason we're hearing about Minnesota is because trump decided to focus ICE there. More agents there than any city and that was before the shooting.

Yea it’s easy to talk about shite when you only ever see a handful of people that look different or have different values, bringing etc.
When I was 10ish we went to a family reunion on white bear lake and I was asked if I road an airboat to school (I grew up in Nola) and if I knew any klan members I was then told to “keep an eye out” for the klan recruiting young men. My grandma had enough of that shite and that’s the last time we went to that.

This is true. The Hmong invasion started when my dad was still alive and he hated those bastards (he was a major hunter/fisherman). Exactly. A lot of people up North won’t admit it, but the racism up there is just as bad, if not worse, than it is in the South. They’re just able to hide it better because they live in communities where 98% of the people around them look identical to them. They call us racist but don’t have the same experiences we do. Drop a liberal White mid-Westerner into the middle of a Shreveport, BR or New Orleans hood and see how fast they change their tune.

I did this to a fat lib chick. She was ranting about how nice they were to let her hang on the stoop and smoke some trash weed. Then they drained her bank account while she was high. The part that pissed me off about it was that the bank made her whole and she learned nothing and just went back to her lib shithole.
