At one point, Minnesota was to Lutherans what Utah is to Mormons. The Lutheran Church was the first Christian denomination to go woke - accepting women pastors, then gays, etc. The Lutherans were also the force behind bringing over the Somalis.

It's proof that every community has their version of "culcha". And in some areas they justify it because of reasons while simultaneously judging other communities for doing the same thing. I asked a family member from Minneapolis about it when they came to NOLA and were commenting on how awful we were to black people and when confronted with her own issues with the Hmong she just said "that's different, you don't understand because you don't live it" there's no reasoning with someone like that.
