You may not be a fan of the sport, the clothing, etc... But enrolling your kids, especially boys, in MMA is something every parent should at least consider. There is that element of cheesy trashed out folks. But it is outweighed by instructors who are amazing people who will teach your kids discipline, respect, and how to not only defend but the skill to neutralize a bully like this. That kid should have stood up immediately. When someone is approaching you in confrontation, always stand on your feet. But he had no idea what to do so he did nothing. He still may have gotten his arse kicked, but he had options on his feet.

Edit - Our instructions call the principals at our elementary schools and kids teachers to make sure they are being respectful to adults as well as other kids.

My schools were majority black, which is why the White Privilege discussion confuses me so much, I grew up as a minority and there was no such thing as a fair fight.

If I try to bring this up in corporate America, they simply can’t imagine it.

Of course. My baby was the victim. Whitey deserved the head injury. Notice how they claim their son was so worried about the victim that he couldn't eat or sleep but the parents could care less about him or his family. Pure garbage.

It seems like the parents are making the old ‘justifiable attempted homicide’ argument?...

He will hit the wrong person and wind up the one on the floor next time. Blame the media for inviting all this white hate

I'd be in jail if that happened to my kid.

You’ve got to stand up for yourself with those black kids. The cafeteria is where it all goes down. One kept reaching across and grabbing my French fries when I was a kid, probably about ninth grade. I told him that if he did it again, I was going to do my best to pin his hand to the table with my fork. He did and I did. The fight was on. We went to the office, he went to the nurse and we never had any trouble with each other again.

If that were my child, I'd shoot the attacker.

So he tries to take another kids life instead?

This is what's wrong with black America. A bunch of dindus.

If you are in a public high school like that, you gotta learn to defend yourself. My kids are in HS and it seems much more calm than when I was a child, my HS was lunch 30 years ago was like a prison. Watch yourself and your food, after you eat, back against the wall.

Be honest, did that make you think of black people a bit different? Of course school kids aren’t always representative of a race, but curious to know if that altered your mindset growing up

I really wanted this harmony thing to work through the years but it’s impossible; the media and race baiting politicians are too strong of a force. The best thing to do is divide up, let them and self-loathing whites have theirs and let us have ours.

What a bitch move by the attacker. If you have a problem address the kid and face him face to face. Quietly coming up from behind and going for the side sneak is a bitch. No chance for the kid to defend himself.
