I'm assuming I got this bitch.
6'1 190. Mid 40s.
Woke up 330 Am Monday morning with itchy, really red eyes, almost like allergy related. Scratchy throat.
No temp issues or fatigue.
Tuesday morning, worsening of throat soreness, extremely thirsty, dry cough, but still, no fatigue. Watery red eyes persist. (probably random)
Last night woke up at 230am, Chills, throat much more sore, dry cough, high temp, extreme thirst.
I'd almost chalk it up to allergies, because I've had no fatigue, or loss of smell/taste as of yet. But I figured we would be out of allergy season right now.
The really sore throat, dry cough, and spike in temp has me thinking I have it though. No congestion as of yet.
Someone else mentioned being filled with cotton was a good analogy.
I'm still unvaxxed and will remain that way.

We really need to know if people are getting Delta or not and how many are vax'd.
The CDC is talking about Delta but we don't have numbers. Delta has been really sticking it to the Vax'd over in Britain. So we need to know if this is happening here.
Are the hospitalized vax'd or not?
Is it Delta or Alpha for these hospitalized?

My mom tested positive for it on monday. She had the Moderna shot back in february. Yesterday she had a headache today she said feeling a lot better. She is 75 and my dad tested negative. I went in the office on friday for first time in forever and was talking to someone today and told them my mom tested positive for it. Now everybody at work is freaking out because i was around her on saturday. So going to get a test friday which in Cobb Count ga. was the earliest i could schedule. What a pain in the but this is. Seem like with so many people wanting a test i am just clogging up the system. I have no symptoms at all.

First two days killer headache, fever, and fatigue. Then fever, sore throat, bouts of severe dry coughing. Overall, extreme fatigue, fever from 100.4 to 102.4 for 10 days. Kicked the ever loving shite out of me. Just now turning the corner.

I think I had it due to the proximity of 2 definite cases of people that had it in July...very mild cough, that was it, could've been a cold, but it was dry.
But, by the time I was tested, I had no rona, mono, flu, strep or anything.
I had it previous March, this version was much softer if so.
If not...?

If there is such a thing it’s mild enough that it wouldn’t be noticed if you didn’t turn on the news

Nah, I felt bad enough it scared me but so far I’ve recovered pretty quickly

Let me ask u something…..how do u know u caught the “varient”??
For real….who told u it’s delta variant and what proof did they show?
People so fricking stupid with this delta variant bullshite.
The difference in the makeup of the “original virus” vs the varient is so minute it has to be sent off to a lab and be analyzed.
So what test did u take, what lab was it sent to and where do u have proof from the lab it’s the variant?
Honestly curious

Don’t know what I have. Going by word of mouth, just know I tested positive. So correct, I don’t actually know
Really more curious how people’s symptoms are with whatever the hell is out there at the moment
