How many times did we see Israeli forces fighting alongside our men when they were in the Middle East?

I can tell you. I was in Iraq and Afghanistan twice each. Zero. Not a single one

You don’t think there’s a specific reason for that phenomenon? Did you even attempt to brainstorm and come up with anything to challenge your own predilections and preconceived notions? I will only tell you that it certainly ain’t a matter of Israel being lazy or some shite.

They got their plutonium for their nuclear weapons program by murdering a citizen in Pennsylvania I believe.

Some people believe that a citizen was murdered in Dallas, Tx for a multitude of reasons with this subject in play.

Nikita Khrushchev was known for saying Communist Russia would defeat the United States without firing a single shot.

From bitter enemies to top allies. Talk about a quick role reversal

I wonder how many people know that Japan declared war on Germany in August of 1914 and fought WITH the allies in WWI?
They kinda got pissed-off when they weren't invited to Versailles with the other allied countries to sign the Armistice.

I’m no expert on the topic, but I feel fairly certain that Australia is one of the only countries that has participated in most recent/“modern” conflicts/wars/operations led by the United States, and by “participated” I mean sending far more than a token number of ground personnel and equipment - alongside a relatively short list of other countries. That would be in stark contrast to the “token” contributions of quite a few other “coalition” countries.

England did too, right?

I believe so, yes. Although I’m not sure I’m deciphering your point correctly.

Ok so why didn’t they offer any aid?

I have talked to a few others about this topic. None of them remember Israel offering any aid at any point or coming to the rescue.

You don’t even want to try on your own? It’s a very good practice to challenge your own immediate reactions and thoughts. It prepares you to foresee the possible counter arguments of others and have your own counterpoints ready to go.

All I’ll say at this time is that it has everything to do with the already very tenuous situation between Israel and certain other countries in that neck of the woods, and the completely rational and logical endeavor to avoid introducing something into the already precarious situation that would make our own ultimate goals much more difficult to achieve than they already would be/are.

In other words, Israel’s involvement would more exacerbate the particular situation(s) than it would help. That being because of the long-festering acrimonious history between Israel and said countries.

Nah Australia is probably more openly hostile to the CCP than anybody other than us and Taiwan at this point.

The ONLY reason there has been any push back at all is due to Trump.

Hell, they leased their primary port to the CCP on their north coast for 99 years. The Aussies (under pressure from the US) WERE supposed to renege on the deal.

As for the average Aussie of Kiwi, they love them some CCP, and they hate America (especially Trump).

You have to get outside of the cities to find people with common sense, and they are a very small portion of the population now.

Australia and New Zealand are pretty much lost causes.

Even Obama was against the Chinese getting this port.

As for pushback, the CHINESE brought it to the fore 9 days ago.

This was the response from the Australian Prime Minister:

quote:

Australian media points out that the issue had been out of the limelight for eight months since the election. Discussing a broad range of issues, the Ambassador, during his press event, said any efforts to retake the port “risked impacting China’s substantive investment” in Australia. Media reports highlighted that the response questioned the motives behind the government's efforts to reclaim the port. He said the actions were “not the way to do business.

The CCP pretty much owns them.

In no order:

Japan, Poland, Israel, South Korea, Taiwan

They require the smallest amount of subsidy and take their own security seriously. If shite were to go down with any of their nasty neighbors (China, Iran, Russia) they are the only “allies” capable of doing anything.

Japan is probably our best, because they also loan us significant money at low cost and they invested hundreds of billions of their own cash at our direction to counter China’s belt and road

Culturally, they are also closer to American values than any of the figs in Europe.

So they didn’t come to the aid of our soldiers because it would upset the people that have wanted their existence to end since the dawn of time. Gotcha. Makes perfect sense.

LOL

We are their ally, they are not ours.

Unless it is war with an Arab nation in the Middle East, I wouldn’t count on Israel to lift a finger to help.

Well he was wrong. In the end it will be China, not Russia, that ends us.
