His "base" was caught up in Trump fever and voted for him hoping he'd be Louisiana's Trump. Reality is Jeff Landry was always, and always will be, a complete fraudulent douchebag. Now that Trump fever during the election cycle has calmed down a bit, most people with a brain look at Jeff Landry and Trump and can tell Trump is farrrr superior to Landry and that Landry is a dumbass.

Well, amendment 2 was going to reduce our income taxes, but the locals werent' smart enough to understand the amendments. However, the initial Landry cuts for income tax are in effect his year, so when you do your taxes next year, you should see a reduction in state, at least that's what my tax guy told me.

The bitching by Landry is majority from the leftists or "blue dog" democrats who call themselves republicans now. Then there is the contingent prior to the last election, that were coming on here daily and saying "Landry is a moron" and "i hate Landry" but not one of them would expound on why they thought that way. It was so odd the vitriol from them, because there was no legitimate reasons. It was as if he slept with their wife. "I hate Landry. He's an idiot, but i'm not going to get into why i hate him so much". It was and is truly odd.
